Camau Nesaf evolved out of an informal club for technology start ups, Clwb Technoleg Môn, begun 8 years ago by Ben Scholes of Papertrail.io and Nick Dryden of Fingo. The club meets once a week with membership until now by invitation only. Angel investment syndicates for Camau Nesaf investees are led by Huw Bishop who is director and co-founder.

For new Start Ups there are a variety of excellent programmes that either offer office space or coaching in strategy and initial business plans; however these programmes do not follow through to funding with end investors, and as such those businesses will struggle to progress.Camau Nesaf have a network of investors, mentors and advisors who work with Start Ups to turn selected companies into serious investible propositions and then continue to work with them through to closing a funding round and beyond.
